Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account and sign-in information: your email address, name, account settings, and authentication information. If you sign in with a password, QuotaMint stores a password hash rather than a readable password. If Google or GitHub sign-in is enabled and you choose it, we receive account information from that provider.
• Workspace and service information: workspace and project names, team membership and invitation details, plan and feature settings, API-key names and identifiers, and webhook endpoint configuration. API keys are stored as digests; webhook signing secrets are encrypted at rest.
• Customer and usage information you submit: customer identifiers and any optional customer name or email, feature and event identifiers, quantities, timestamps, credit changes, idempotency identifiers, and optional event metadata. Do not send information that your application does not need QuotaMint to process.
• Billing information: subscription and customer identifiers, plan, status, billing-period dates, and related event records. Dodo Payments processes checkout and payment-card information through its hosted payment services. QuotaMint does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.
• Operational and activity information: security and audit records, service events, and diagnostic information needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure QuotaMint, authenticate users, manage workspaces and subscriptions, process metering requests, deliver service and account emails, provide support, investigate errors or abuse, meet legal obligations, and maintain service records.

The website uses a Google Ads tag for advertising measurement. Depending on configuration, the dashboard may also send product events and error information to PostHog. These tools may receive browser, device, and interaction information under their own privacy terms. You can manage cookies and similar storage through your browser settings; blocking them may affect measurement features.

When information is shared

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate QuotaMint, including database and hosting providers, Resend for account email delivery, Dodo Payments for QuotaMint subscription billing, and Google or PostHog for the measurement described above when those services are enabled. If you choose Google or GitHub sign-in, that provider also processes information under its own terms. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or our rights.

Customer data and your responsibilities

If you submit information about your own customers or end users, QuotaMint processes it to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the rights and notices needed to submit that information and for deciding what data your application sends. QuotaMint does not need your end users’ passwords to meter usage.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet operational and legal requirements, resolve disputes, and protect QuotaMint. Usage and audit history is subject to the retention period shown by your plan and workspace settings. Some billing, security, and accounting records may need to be retained after an account or workspace stops being active.

We use safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including hashed API-key storage and encrypted webhook signing secrets. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You can update certain account and workspace information in the dashboard. To ask a privacy question or request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, email us. We may retain information when needed for legal, security, billing, or legitimate operational reasons.
